Founded in 2021 by the passionate and visionary entrepreneur, Hilina Mezgebu, who is the CEO of the company. Qawwa Coffee is an inspiring all-women coffee company based in the vibrant city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. With a mission to empower women and make a positive impact on the Ethiopian coffee industry, Qawwa Coffee is setting a new standard of excellence while fostering sustainable and inclusive practices.

So far we’ve had many opportunities to be a part of many different coffee events all over the globe and the CEO of the company Hilina Mezgebu has had the opportunity in being a part of the association’s advisory board which is an exciting chapter in her coffee journey. We are excited about our future endeavours with WICE association.
